Executive Committee

REDD+´s executive committee is formed by a regular member and one alternate from the following sectors or RIPs: indigenous, industrial wood, small forest producers, National Banking System, Ministry of Environment and Energy, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and civil society or owners of land overuse. Institutional representatives, according to the decree, were nominated by their respective institutions.

In reference to the indigenous sector, the representative to the Executive Committee REDD + was selected in the assembly which invited 24 indigenous territories and 19 participated. Meanwhile, the civil society sector or owners of land overuse conducted a selection process at the regional level and regional representatives subsequently named the national representative.
